LibertyX has announced the addition of 90 bitcoin ATMs in Nevada and Arizona thanks to a partnership with DesertATM that added its machines to LibertyX’s growing network.
The company also revealed that it now operates over 1,000 bitcoin ATMs nationwide. Through the machines, LibertyX allows customers to purchase bitcoin with cash or debit cards at trusted retail locations.
Through the partnership, DesertATM will install LibertyX on its Genmega ATMs across retail locations like Chevron gas stations and Family Dollar stores. Once the integration is complete, LibertyX customers will be able to buy bitcoin using their debit cards from DesertATM-operated machines.
“We’re thrilled with the demand and enthusiasm we’ve seen from ATM operators who have been dying for a scalable, compliant and capital-efficient bitcoin solution,” LibertyX CEO Chris Yim said in a statement.
